Sarger is 1!!!

This is a pic of Sarger taking his 1 year old birthday bath for the day.

I love this baby boy. I can't believe Blake and I survived a whole year of this cute baby boy!

Sarger is opening up his Birthday presents (and Christmas presents... don't tell him!)
Oh my goodness, Blake and I were dying laughing. Sarger was SO EXCITED about his new toys. He was giggling and clapping his hands like crazy. It has been fun watching him play with his toys.

Halloween.

The day after he was born. So tiny.

Our Christmas present in 2011.

Ever since he was born he is super alert and active.

This picture is so tender of him.

He has such a special spirit that he brings into our home!

Making him laugh is the best sound in the whole world.

His pregnancy was the worst, hardest period of my life that I have EVER gone through (The night I went into labor Dec. 26, 2011).

He was so worth all the pain and sickness though!

Happy Birthday SARGER!!!!

It's a......

BOY!!!

We are super excited!

We went to Arizona for Thanksgiving. It was so beautiful there.

See in this picture:
no sweater = warm
no jacket = not raining
smile = loving life

Nice and warm and no rain!

I can't believe I am 20 weeks now! "Woah oh, we're halfway there!"

But it really does go by faster the second time around. I am busy with an 11 month year old.

I love this time of year.

November - 9

I am so thankful for my little dog Apollo.

I am so glad he is my first child. He is so caring and loving. He is always there for me. I am glad we rescued him from the crazy pet owner he had growing up... poor guy.

He is amazing with little kids. So patient, gentle, and kind. He and Sarger are buddies. He is the first to know when I am pregnant because he will come and lay by my tummy and he doesn't do that normally.

He makes me get outside to take him on walks. I never regret going on a walk or run with him.

He doesn't shed and he's the perfect size dog for us.

We love to take naps together.

He is very protective of baby Sarger ever since he was brought home from the hospital...haha

(And yes, Apollo is sitting on my lap while I am nursing... he had to be where the baby was)

He loves going on hikes or any outings. We are so glad you are in our family Apollo!!!

November - 4

I am thankful for a modern day prophet, President Thomas S. Monson. I am also thankful for the First Presidency and the 12 Apostles.

Today, we had Stake Conference. We were able to hear from Elder Quentin L. Cook, one of the 12 apostles.

I am so thankful that these men that are called of God to be Prophets, Seers, and Revelators for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints.

I know these men are truly called of God.

Happy Sabbath Day!

I am making pumpkin chocolate cookies... delicious!

It is a gorgeous November Oregon Day!

Happy Sabbath!

November - 3 Beautiful Heartbreak

I am thankful that I was able to attend
"Time Out For Women"
on Saturday!

It was fantastic! My friend Jackie Beattie went with me. It was in Portland from 9am - 3:30pm. It is sponsored by Deseret Book. They had speakers and Hilary Weeks performed multiple numbers. Wow, Hilary Weeks is amazing!

She performed this song, Beautiful Heartbreak with this video.
 Check it out!

It was an uplifting day. The theme of the day was "Seek the Good".

The more positive we are about life, the more positive life becomes. It is truly amazing. The more negative things we pick out about our life, the more negative our life becomes. Our mind is so powerful. The thoughts we think become the kind of life we have. We can create the kind of life we want to have by our thoughts. It is such a great reminder of how I want to live my life. I don't want a hard, sad life. I want to have a joyful and wonderful life. I will seek the good in everything.

P.S. I am feeling a lot better than yesterday. Still on the mend but a ton better.

November - 2

November - 2

I started feeling really sick yesterday, Thursday, afternoon. Blake even came home a little early to take care of me and Sarger. I started throwing up at 8pm and continued every 2 hours until 4am. And then I only threw up once this morning at 9:30am. I couldn't sleep all night and my stomach was killing me! I hate, HATE being sick!

I called the offline nurse early this morning to ask what I should do. I get worried since I am pregnant and nursing that I am losing so many fluids. I need extra fluids for my two babies. I talked to a doctor and he told him to keep him posted on my condition. He said that I have a viral bug. Since I stopped throwing up by the time another nurse called me this morning, they didn't have me go in to get an IV of fluids.

I have just been laying around all day... it drives me crazy... I hate being sick. Have I told you that yet? This nausea reminds me of when I was pregnant with Sarger... how did I do it?!

I am so thankful that Blake has his flex Friday today. Luckily, he has work off to take care of Sarger and me. What a blessing that I happened to be sick when he could take care of us.

I am thankful that Blake is a worthy, Priesthood holder and that he can give me a blessing of health and strength. Blake is my best-est friend and companion in the whole world and I am truly thankful for him and his life.

November - 1 Giving Thanks

It is November 1st!

I saw this on another blog (Caroline's) and I wanted to copy it. I want to blog each day this month about at least one thing I am grateful for. There are SO many things I am grateful for.

(Warning: These posts might be kind of lame for you readers. But you don't have to read them :)

I am thankful for the sunshine and the rain.

It has been raining a lot here in Portland and I am not quit use to it yet. I have to stop and think that it helps gives nourishment to all the plants and trees. I still need to get outside even though it's cold and rainy!

And let's not forget about the sun. Without the sun, it would be complete darkness. We would cease to exist. I love the warmth of the sun and the happiness it gives me.

Happy 1st!

Halloween

Happy Halloween!

We had fun going to my sister-in-laws and going trick or treating at a shopping center. My three nieces looked so cute.

I cooked up some delicious Tilapia fish, rice, and green salad for dinner. We had about 30-40 trick or treaters come over to our house.

I really wanted to take Sarger trick-or-treating even though he doesn't eat candy. But I loved it growing up. Blake did NOT want to come with us due to embarrassment but I finally convinced him to come and not be visible to the home owners. Sarger and I just went to a few houses. It was really fun, for me!

Sarger had fun taking the candy out of the bag and then throwing it back in. I love my little dargon boy.

Pictures Galore From My Phone

Hello Blogging World!

Here are a bunch of pictures from my phone since we have moved to Oregon.

Sarger is now 10 months and can pull himself up and cruise along the furniture. He has been teething pretty hard the last 2 weeks, poor guy. I think the top two are going to come in soon.

He likes to look outside.

He doesn't like when I am on the couch and he can't get up there. I always sit on the floor with him. He loves to be where I am at. He doesn't like when I walk to another room without him. He is busy, busy, busy!

This is his first time rock climbing... haha jk. (Blake put him on the wall and he's right behind him waiting to catch him.)

He loves to touch the keys on the computer.

This was our tree outside our house during the first of September... gorgeous orange and red. The leaves have been gone for a couple of weeks.

This is a bad picture from Story Time at the Library for babies 0-1. It's so much fun. We sing songs and the babies get to play with toys and interact.

He stands up in his crib when he wakes up from his naps. This time he was cranky and crying. He is just so sweet even when he is crying.

Good chipmunk profile. He is over 24 lbs. He is a big, long boy.

He like to watch the dog outside.

This was our picnic at the park in between General Conference sessions on Saturday. He likes to play with Apollo's leash.

General Conference was wonderful. We watched all sessions.

Bath time is so fun!

This is a picture of my niece Emma when we were at Family Fun Center and she went on a big, scary ride all by herself (I couldn't go and Blake didn't want to, lol) We had an awesome sleepover to celebrate her 8th b-day.

The most Legit Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island.

They take you on a hay ride and drop you off at a big field of pumpkins. The pumpkins actually grew in that spot and they just killed the stems. I have never been to a real pumpkin patch.

We ended up pinking this little pumpkin...haha Actually Blake lugged us an over 50 lbs. pumpkin. Over 26 lbs. all the pumpkins are $7, score!

It was the most beautiful day!

Sarger's first baby crush. They like to hold hands and play.

A terrible picture I took of a picture we got of Sarger. (It's a lot cuter in real life)

This is a pic in July at Rockaway beach. We have gone to the beach quit a few times already since we moved here.

Wakeboarding with Shawn and Candice's Family. We do a lot of our activities with them. It is so AWESOME to have family here! I love it!

So sweet!

The first day we moved into our house he found the door stoppers to 'boing'.

At the park going on a walk. We have gone on a walk almost everyday when it's not raining.

Blueberry picking is awesome in Oregon. So many blueberry farms. (August)

Swimming at Monica's. It was hot this summer!

Beach during Labor Day weekend.

Camping at the Beach Labor Day weekend with Candice's Family. It was a blast.

Blake singing Portuguese to  Sarger... I love his facial expressions.

Mirror Lake Hike.

Lincoln City Beach

Blake is the best husband and father ever! He loves his new job as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Xerox. We are so glad he got the job and we love it here!

And I have some exciting news.......

Yes we are pregnant! We are very excited! (That's a big reason why I haven't been blogging lately)

Due April 13, 2013!!
